Virginia D. (Lewis) Clark

     KEYSER, WV - Virginia D. (Lewis) Clark, 65, of Keyser, died on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Potomac Valley Hospital.

     Born on September 4, 1956 in Keyser, she was the daughter of Betty Lou (Nelson) Lewis and the late Ernest Dale Lewis, Sr. In addition to her father she is also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Robert Grant “Bud” Clark and her sister, Judy Lewis.

     Virginia attended Elk Garden High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology at Potomac State College. She was a former Cashier for Walmart and a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with family, friends and doggies. She also enjoyed chatting on the phone for hours with her mother, “Gumdrop” and crocheting.

     In addition to her mother, Betty of Cross, WV she is survived by her children, Robert “Robbie”/“Bullneck” Clark of Keyser, Brian Clark and fiancee Christina Berry of Cumberland, MD, Betty Jo Clark and Nathaniel Clark and wife Kristin both of Keyser; a brother, Ernest Lewis, Jr. and wife Gayle of Cross and her sister, Debra Scwinabart and companion, Larry Selders of Mt Storm, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bryon, Tamera, Bryson and Mason and her nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00pm with the Reverend Kenny L. Mason officiating. Interment will be held in St. Clair Cemetery, Cross, WV.
