Her Life…(Obituary) "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever". Psalm 23:6 Myrtle Wilkins Moore was born September 19, 1920. To John Cleveland and Annie Bessie Wilkins. She was the oldest of 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-Maxcine Davis and brothers – JC, Roy and Minnie Wilkins. She attended Booker T Washington School and accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Whitest Chapel Baptist Church until her health declined. Myrtle worked as a Cosmetologist for many years and later retired from the Culinary field in the El Dorado and Junction City School Districts. She was married to Thomas Moore (deceased) for 76 years, and to this union five children were born. She leaves to cherish her memory; three sons Thomas (Regina), Moore, of El Dorado, AR, Maurice Moore of Wesson, AR and Donnie Moore of Milwaukee, WS; three daughters: Shirley (Donald) Tate, Margaret ( Rev Michael Wilson of El Dorado, AR and Mary (Darsel) Moore of Rockwall, TX; Cathy Davis (a very special niece/daughter); fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; one brother: Rev Dr. Ellis Wilkins of Milwaukee, WS. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends whom will miss her dearly
