TimTimothy Boyd Durfee Age 54 of Mt Pleasant passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Brian McKay officiating. Private Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery, Fremont Township. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 pm to 4 pm on September 28th. Timothy was born December 17, 1966 in Owosso, the son of Boyd and Carolyn (Beverlin) Durfee. He attended Owosso High School. Timothy enjoyed riding and tinkering with his motorcycle. He was always willing to help lend a hand to anyone especially his kids, Timothy loved long road trips and heading out West to Montana. He loved the outdoors from fishing to canoeing to making a perfect bonfire for the family to enjoy. Timothy loved his family, his grandchildren will always hold a special place in his heart. He married Rebecca Murphy at Wesleyan Holiness Church Mt. Pleasant, MI on September 17, 1988. Timothy was a Carpenter for many years, he was an owner operator of Durfee Home Improvement for 30+ years Timothy is survived by his Wife, Rebecca Murphy; Daughters, Michelle (Jeff) Baylor and Kera (Jasen) Smith; Sons Justin (Breanna) Durfee and Adam Durfee Grandchildren, Shane (Boog), EmiLee, Gracy, Markus and Rolie; Brother, Joe Durfee; Sisters, Kathy (Don) Porter, Jan (Bill) Stanhope and Terri Langdon; many nieces and nephews along with other loving friends and family . He was predeceased by his Father, Boyd Durfee, Mother, Carolyn Durfee, Brother, Neil Sr. Durfee, Brother in-law, Roy Langdon, Cousin, Gary Billington.
