Mr. Stanley Earl Gist affectionally known as Fred was born April 23, 1960. A Native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the wife of Janie Gist and the son of Ruby Mae Gist Cooke.

 

A Life Well Spent

 

He attended the Union County Public School System. He was a jack of all trades having a special love for Carpentry. He loved listening to gospel Music by Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC’s. He had a special love for people and his family and friends He would light up the room with his presence, jokes, and smile.

He passed away Wednesday Morning, September 15, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC following a sudden injury.

 

He was predeceased by Maternal Grandparents Simon “Bo” and Lily Mae Sims Gist, uncles James “JD” Gist, and Willie James Gist, and 1st cousin Beverly Gist.
