Rolan D Albers 71 of Duluth, died Saturday May 22 at Bayshore Residence. He was born November 12, 1949 in Cherokee, Iowa to Helen and Lawrence Albers. He was a 1968 graduate of Galva-Holstein Sr High School and Mankato State University in 1975. He married Kay Beckel on November 22. 1975. Rolan was teacher for Duluth schools and a program assistant for DRCC. He owned, remodeled, and rented apartments in Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sharing stories with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lois Szarmach. He is survived by his wife Kay, his sons Jeffery and Marvin (Kayce), 2 grandchildren, Trinity and Cole. All who knew Rolan are invited to a Celebration of Life at 3-7 PM on October 2, 2021 at the West Duluth American Legion Post #71, 5814 Grand Ave, Duluth.
