Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Glick, 50, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  The son of the late Wanda Belbot Glick and the late John Glick, Jeff was born October 28, 1970 in West Palm Beach, Florida.  He graduated from Santaluces High School, Class of 1990, where he excelled in wrestling.  He enjoyed his many years working for Publix Supermarkets and then moved on to a career in emergency backup power.  Jeff was one of the best generator technicians in the lower southeast.  He never met a generator he couldn’t fix! Jeff had a bigger than life personality and was always ready for a new adventure.  He loved to go shopping with the intent of gifting someone else with whatever he bought.  He had an unlimited passion for cooking, eating, and feeding others.  He was outspoken in what he believed in.  Above all else, Jeff genuinely loved his family and friends, especially his time spent with his beloved best friend, Ms. Linda Ashley. 

 

Jeff is survived by: his children, JT Glick (Aspen) and Dawson Glick; his stepchildren, Kaylie Cook (Axl) and Devan Malphrus (Arianna); his step grandchildren, Dekklan Cook, Zeplyn Cook, and Madaline Malphrus; his sisters, Vickie Stubblefield, Tina Horton, Julie Glick, and Debbie Glick; his brothers, Kevin Glick (Chia), Frank Thompson, and Bobby Thompson; and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Glick, Timothy Glick, and Michael Glick; and a nephew, Zachary Glick.

A Celebration of Life will be 5 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, October 23, 2021 at Jeffrey's home, 226 Melody Lane, Varnville, South Carolina 29944.
