To view video click on Tribute wall In loving memory of Charles Franklin Morris Jr.” Charley”, of Fredericktown, Missouri who passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of eighty-two. He was born on October 5, 1938, in Higdon, Missouri to Rev. Charles Morris Sr. and Virginia Mary (White) Morris. His parents precede him in death. Charles married his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Marie Cole on March 28, 1959, in St. Louis; she survives at the home. Other survivors include: one daughter & son-in-law – Rhonda & David Blanton of Barnhart, Missouri; sister & brother-in-law – Shirley & Glen Johnson of Farmington, Missouri and grandson Erik Burger of High Ridge, Missouri. Charles retired after fifty-five and a half years with Boeing Aircraft in St. Louis; he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and in his earlier years he loved racing cars and collecting old cars and was a real estate broker. He was a member of the Fredericktown Masonic Lodge 110 A.F& A.M. and a Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. He was also a member of God’s Country Cowboy Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with a Masonic service at 7:00 p.m. also on Friday, September 17, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Francis officiating. Interment will be at the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
