MASTERS, Denis Nicholas – Passed away in the evening of Monday, September 13, 2021, at his home in Gravenhurst. He was in his 72nd year. Denis was the beloved husband of 48 years to Janice (nee Grosvenor). Cherished father of Philip (Jill) Masters, and Michael (Christiane) Masters. Loving grandfather of Jordan, Gavin, Griffin, and Sophie. Dear brother of eight brothers and sisters.

Denis moved to Bramalea with his parents, in 1966, from England. In 1972, he moved to Gravenhurst. It was in 1973, where he met the love of his life, Janice, whom he married shortly after. They had two children and began a life in Gravenhurst. He opened a bike shop – Muskoka Small Engines – which he ran for over 30 years, in Gravenhurst. Denis was a motorcycle enthusiast, having encouraged his boys and grandchildren in riding motocross. He was also an avid volunteer for Snowarama supporting Easter Seals. Denis was a wonderful husband and a loving father and grandpa. He and his humour will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and community.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Denis’s life will be held at a later date. In memory, donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital – Dialysis Ward and can be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
