Kelly Ann Ullom

Kelly Ann Richey Ullom, 51, of Dallas, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born December 29, 1969, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of Donald E. Richey, Sr. and the late Diana Mary Casper Richey. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Hughie "Wacker" & Dorothy Amos Ullom; 3 nieces, Ashley Richey, Tiffany White & Ashley Ullom; a brother-in-law, Paul Ullom; and a sister-in-law, Mona L. Richey. Kelly worked in the accounts payable/billing office at the Ogden Newspaper in Wheeling, WV. She was passionate about the Dallas Fire Department, where she was a 30-year member and served as a firefighter, secretary, EMT & director. She also was a member of the 4H, Marshall County Goat/Rabbit club, Dallas United Methodist Church, and the leader of the Sand Hill Hustlers. Kelly volunteered for the WV Wildlife Federation for their hunting/fishing days for over 10 years. She loved hunting, fishing, giving heck to her nephews & spending time with her family. In addition to her father, Kelly is survived by her husband of 27 years, Alan Wayne Ullom; son, Austin W. Ullom; daughter, Shelby Lynn Ullom; grandson, Archer Wayne Ullom and his mother, Nicole Emery; sister, Kimberly “Kim” R. Muffeny; 3 brothers, Donald E. (Christine) Richey Jr., Mark C. (Lisa) Richey & Michael L. (Heather) Richey; 5 brother-in-laws, Mark (Donna) Ullom, Derrick (Peggy) Ullom, Scott (Debbie) Ullom, Brian (Paula) Ullom & Dana (Gail) Ullom; a sister-in-law, Tara (Donnie) Philabaum; and many nieces & nephews. Friends will be received on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 1-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732) where services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11 AM with Rev. Debra Dague & Rev. Cindy Boggs officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dallas Volunteer Fire Department, 7024 Dallas Street, Dallas, WV 26036.
