Mitch Mashburn, 59, of Resaca, Georgia died Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was born on February 11, 1962, in Rome, GA to the late Jack and Cathryn Pettit Mashburn.

Mitch was in the graduating class of 1980 from Red Bud High School.

He is survived by his children, Alex Mashburn, Kelly Mashburn, and Casey Mashburn; their mother, Mendy Mashburn; their grandparents, Ray and Kathy Poarch and Benny Bagwell; sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Jim Patterson; his close cousin, Shelby Mashburn; several aunts, uncles, many friends, and family also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tac Coley officiating.
