She later married Howard “Red” Moshier and they made their home in the Town of Hornby. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2000. Bea was a former receptionist for Dr. Rexa Dewey Benn. She later was an inspector at Corning Glass Works and eventually worked at Ann Page Foods in Horseheads from where she retired. She was a member of Grace Lee Wesleyan Church in Beaver Dams. She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice “Dolly” (James) Harkenrider of Beaver Dams, her son, Thurman (Sue) Blanchard of Horseheads, her grandchildren, James (Dorothy) Harkenrider Jr., Debbie (Steve) Herbert, Patricia (Terry) Brimmer, Matthew (Mabell) Blanchard, Andrew Blanchard, Christopher (Heather) Blanchard, Rachel Moshier, Sara Moshier and Dylan Moshier, 14 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husbands, Bea was preceded in death by her step son, John D. Moshier, her brothers, Garfield (Juanita) Potter and James (Louise) Potter, her sisters, Hazel Mae (DeLos) Woodard and Iona (Bucky) Krause. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 18 from 12:30 to 2 pm at the Woodhull Cemetery Chapel, Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 2 pm with Pastors Ed Crandall and Don Nagy officiating. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested for Corning Meals on Wheels, 144 Cedar St., Corning, NY 14830 or to Faith in Action, 20 Broadway Mall, Hornell, NY 14843. Arrangements are in care of the H.P.
