<p>Iris Imler, 68-year-old Boise City, Oklahoma resident passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.&nbsp;</p> <p>Iris Rosanne Cochran was born June 4, 1953, in Stafford, Kansas to Charles and Bertha (Tolbert) Cochran. Iris attended the Keyes, Oklahoma school system graduating with the class of 1971.</p> <p>Iris was united in marriage with Joel Imler on August 31, 1978. To this union they were blessed with four children. She worked for Dr. Wheeler for many years and retired from the Oklahoma Conservation District after 26 years of being the program coordinator.</p> <p>During her spare time, she served on the Boise City School board and was a member of the Oklahoma State School Board for numerous years serving a two-year term on the Oklahoma State School Boards Association Board of directors. Iris was an active member of the Trails of Thread quilters club of Boise City.&nbsp; She enjoyed spending time with her high school friends traveling to many different places, but her favorite thing to do was to travel to watch all of her grandkid&rsquo;s events. She rarely missed any of their activities or birthdays.</p> <p>Iris was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Chalyn.</p> <p>Left to cherish her memory are her husband Joel of the home; Daughter Virginia Miller and husband Heath of Liberty Hill, Texas, two sons; Minor Imler and wife Renee of Boise City and Bradley Imler and wife Melinda of Glenpool, Oklahoma, six grandchildren; Heather Miller, Dylan Miller, Harlea Miller, Jackson Imler, Jacie Imler and Sadie Imler, one sister; Linda Powers of Abilene, Texas. She is also survived by many other family members and a host of friends.</p> <p>Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors Boise City location.&nbsp; Family will be present from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M.&nbsp; Monday, September 20, 2021, at Boise City Cemetery with Billy Rammage and Kim Mizer officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Chalyn &ldquo;Sis&rdquo; Imler scholarship program and may be accepted by Henson- Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Iris Imler, 68-year-old Boise City, Oklahoma resident passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. 

Iris Rosanne Cochran was born June 4, 1953, in Stafford, Kansas to Charles and Bertha (Tolbert) Cochran. Iris attended the Keyes, Oklahoma school system graduating with the class of 1971.
