Stuart Scott Freeman Obituary

Stuart “Scott” Freeman was born on February 11,1966 to Jerry and Joan Freeman. Scott grew up in Palmer, Texas, where he graduated from Palmer High School in 1984 and then attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. On September 17, 2016, Scott married his best friend Ann Peters in Rockwall, Texas. Most recently Scott was the CEO of his own company Rainmaker New Business Development in Richardson, Texas. He was a generous, hard-working man who loved his family more than anything in the world. He also loved the outdoors, socializing, making new friends, and he never knew a stranger. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Scott is survived by his wife, Ann Freeman of Mesquite Texas; son Luke Freeman of Plano, Texas; daughter Emma Freeman of Plano, Texas; parents Jerry and Joan Freeman of Palmer, Texas; brother, Justin and wife, Becky of Richardson, Texas, and their children Grace, and Megan; Sister-in-law Shera DeMay and husband Mark of Denison, Texas, and their children Lexi, Abbi, Emily, and Alyssa; Sister-in-law Sonya Bell and husband Joe of Fate, Texas, and their children Amanda, Bryan and Kaitlyn; father-in-law, Ronnie Peters; and a host of other loving family and friends . The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at Oates Drive Baptist Church located at 2805 Oates Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150. The service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Burt officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 12649 Lake June Road, Mesquite, TX 75180.
