Visitation for Max Lara, 32, of Cleburne, will be 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Max Lara passed away September 13, 2021, in Cleburne. He was born March 10, 1989, in Cleburne to Sammy and Isabel Reyna Lara. He was a truck driver. Max is survived by his parents, Sammy and Isabel Lara of Cleburne; sister Darcy and spouse David Belt of Granbury; son Maddox Asher Lara of Cleburne; grandfather Joe Reyna of Covington; uncles, Henry, Paul and Larry Lara; uncles, Simon, Joe, Juan, Jesse and Javier Reyna; aunts, Adela Puente, Chris Olvera, Angie Lara, Bonnie Lara, Nellie Phifer, Julia Ortega, Jetta Reyna and Diana Ruiz; nephew Colin; nieces, Abbie and Taylor and numerous cousins and friends. Max is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Adela Lara and Maria Reyna; grandfather, Henry Lara and aunt, Linda Lara. Max loved his family, especially his son. He had a big heart and was very affectionate. He loved music and camping. He also loved the beach, and his wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread in the Gulf Coast in Galveston.
