Garneau, Jr., 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p>Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Richard F. and Kathleen Garneau, Sr.</p> <p> </p> <p>Richard worked as a carpenter for Carpentry Plus for many years. He was a genuine and caring person who was devoted to his family and friends.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition to his parents, he leaves three daughters, Brianna Garneau, Angelina Garneau, and Hannah Mekuto, four siblings, Serena Garneau, Jesse Garneau, Joshua Garneau, and Elizabeth Garneau, a grandson Atticus Doyle, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. </p> <p> </p> <p>Visiting hours will be held Friday morning from 9:00 - 12:00 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street Providence. A funeral service will begin at noontime. Interment will be private.</p>Obituary
