Mrs. Bonnie R. Boehler, 93, of Kincaid, IL was called home to her Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

She was born in Taylorville, IL. February 14, 1928, the daughter of Edgar and Willa Searcy.  Bonnie married William V. Boehler on August 7, 1954, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Kincaid, IL.

Bonnie was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and former member of their Altar and Rosary Society.  She loved cooking and baking, enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.  Bonnie spent her life loving other people and they loved her.

Surviving are a son David Boehler (Mandy) of Owaneco, IL., a daughter Anita Anderson (Larry)  of Dacula, GA., 6 grandchildren Chad L. Boehler (Dasha Patterson) of Lilburn, GA., Heather L. Smothers of Kincaid, IL., Alyssa Williams (Mike Hafliger) of Kincaid, IL., Dustin M. Smothers (Katie) of Braselton, GA., William J. Boehler and Abigail Boehler both of Owaneco, IL., 4 great grandchildren  Noah Williams, David Hafliger, Reagan Smothers and Jackson Smothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar & Willa Searcy, her husband William V. Boehler, 2 sons Donnie and Danny Boehler, and 3 brothers Earl, Stanley and LeRoy Searcy.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid, IL.  Rev. Fr. Rodney Schwartz will officiate.  Burial will be in Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee.  Visitation for Mrs. Bonnie R. Boehler will be held for one hour before her service at St. Rita’s.  Masterson’s in Kincaid is assisting with her arrangements.  Condolences may also be left at mastersonfh.com and will be forwarded to her family.
