Michael Dean Koon

<p>Mr. Michael Dean Koon, 79, of Marion, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Calvert City.</p> <p>Mr. Koon was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah&rsquo;s Witness&rsquo;s in Marion.</p> <p>He is survived by five sons, Randall Dean Koon (Carmela) of Tacoma, WA, Scott Gregory Koon of Marion, KY, Bryan Koon (Crystal) of Union City, TN, Milton Wade Koon (Deborah Rainey) of Wasilla, AK, Eric Michael Koon of Marion, KY; one daughter, Anna Rochelle McClain (Joseph) of Fredonia, KY; one sister, Janice Ballard of Calvert City, KY; two brothers, James Patrick Koon of Salem, KY, and Allen Reed Koon of Joppa, IL; grandchildren, Jon Michael Koon, Christopher Koon, Douglas Koon, Megan Tuz-Tamayo, Naomi Mejia, Keith Michael Koon, Christopher Bryan Koon, Ramzi Elizabeth Turner, Carson Drake Quinn, Remington David Quinn, Brentlee Ford Koon, Anthony Koon, Heather Lampley, Brittany Rainey, Jackie Russell, Benjamin McClain, Kaitlin McClain, Emily McClain, Joshua Koon, and Jared Koon; and 14 great grandchildren.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by two wives, Kathleen Mae (Stallions) Koon and Rebecca Ann (Stepping) Koon; two brothers, Gary Eugene Koon and Stanley Eugene Koon; and his parents, Dick and Geraldine (Reed) Koon.</p> <p>Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.&nbsp; Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.</p> <p>Friends may visit with the family Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 1 PM until the funeral hour, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.</p> <p>Condolences may also be left online at boydfuneraldirectors.com.</p>
