Reflection of Life

Eleanor Malinda Jackson was born on January 28, 1933 in Tallulah, Louisiana to Olivia Fitzpatrick and Daniel Clay; there were seven siblings born to this union.

Mother Jackson accepted Christ at a young age, she was a devoted member of Compassionate Love Ministries, later moving her fellowship to Keeping It Real Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Carey Nunley.

Mother Jackson was known to take in and care for the entire village, she never met a stranger, her heart was full of compassion and she was not short on conversation, the magnitude of her assistances was limitless, if you needed it, she gave it.

Mother Jackson’s commitment to her community was evident in her career choices. She was employed by the Clark County School District where she held numerous positions, she served on many boards and councils throughout the city of Las Vegas, primarily in West Las Vegas to include Housing Authority of the city of Las Vegas.

She met and married the Love of her life Charles Jackson, Sr. to this union four sons were born, her husband preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Ronnie Jackson (Stephanie), Byron Jackson (LaVana), Charles Jackson, Jr. (Mary), and Eric Jackson, her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she leaves to mourn her, Mamee Stewart- Grant, Kiplaqott Stewart, Kwaku Stewart, Natanda Jackson, Byron Jackson, Jr., Aljena Jackson, Charles Jackson III, Tyree Jackson, Eric Henderson, Erica Jackson, Damen Scott, and Demarr Allen.

19 Great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, three special nieces Janet Singleton, Lurene Clay-Jordan, and LaDonna Flake, two bonus grandsons Jesse and Anthony Washington.

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
