Funeral services for Mr. George “Snake” Thomas, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11 am at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, 601 East Mary Street, Dublin, Georgia. Reverend Norman Roberts will deliver the eulogy. Mr. George “Snake” Thomas was born on July 17, 1956, in Fulton County, Georgia, to Emma Janes Thomas and William Telfair. He attended Johnson County High School in Wrightsville, where he finished in 1974. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind three sisters, Emma (Earl) Martin and Deloris (Willie) Williams both of Wrightsville, Georgia, Janie Ruth Robinson of Macon, Georgia; one daughter, Lakilia Thomas; one granddaughter, Rejianaya Corbett; two nieces, Joycelyn Martin of Wrightsville, Georgia and Juanita Martin of Dublin, Georgia; one nephew, Jarvis (Shatavia) Martin of Dublin, Georgia; great nieces and nephews, Nikita, Dyani, Javan, Javaris, Duckworth, Yakinni, Jabari, Martin, Jordan, the late Ja’Kolbe, Ka’Marr Wright, Carlos Robinson, Monwell Robinson, Vincent Rawlins, Chenekee Rawlins and Tony Rawlins; other relatives and friends.
