Robert Louis Ulmer, age 95, of Spring Creek, Nevada passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday April 19, 2018 at 11 AM at Smithgrove Cemetery with military rites by V.F.W. Post #1377. Memorial contributions are suggested to Smith Grove Cemetery

Robert was born December 12, 1922 in Greenville, IL to Courtney and Ethel Ulmer. He is survived by his wife Hazel who he married on July 15, 1991; his children Robert (Ruth) Ulmer, Jr of Michigan, Lynn Ulmer of Greenville, IL, Linda (Randy) Hinch of Mulberry Grove, IL, Rande Ulmer of Spring Creek, Nevada, and Susan Ulmer of Pocahontas, IL. He is also survived by his brother Harry Ulmer of San Bernadino, CA, half-brothers John Ulmer of Greenville, IL and Duane Ulmer of Greenville, IL, and his half-sister Betty Ulmer of Muberry Grove, IL. He is also survived by his step-children; Kirk (Marcel) Goodale of Bozeman, MT, and Debbie (Phil) Goodale of Spring Creek, NV, along with 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a half-brother Vallee Ulmer and a step-daughter Dawnetta Olvera.

Robert served in the United States Air Force. After the service he worked for Alltel establishing cell phone towers throughout the country. He also worked as a contractor along with his son Rande building commercial and residential buildings. He was a dedicated fisherman and hunter.
