<p id="descr" class="show-read-more" itemprop="description"> Juanita Blankenship Nick, age 86, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:20 AM at Helia Healthcare in Greenville. The family will hold a memorial service Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 3 PM at The Greenville First Christian Church. Friends may call Sunday after 2 PM at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family. Juanita was born September 10, 1929 in Greenville to George "Midge" and Mabel (Whitten) Frank. She married Ted Blankenship in 1946 and then in September of 1974 she married Clayton Nick. She is survived by her daughters Terry Blankenship of Atlanta, GA and Merry Pippin and her husband Jack of Garner, NC along with her son Patrick Blankenship and his wife Debbie of Greenville. She is also survived by a step-son Roger Nick of Oshkosh, WI, also by her brother Howard Frank of Greenville and her sister Pat File also of Greenville. She is survived by many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, two sons John Blankenship and Jim Blankenship, and three step-sons Wendy Nick, Colle Nick and Doug Nick. She grew up in Greenville and worked as a seamstress at the Marine Garment Factory. She lived in Oshkosh, WI from 1974 to 2004 when she returned to Greenville.
