Leslie Thomas Muldrow was born in Chicago, IL January 24 1964. Leslie and her husband, Thomas Muldrow attended Jesus Name Apostolic Church. Leslie attended Chicago Vocational High School where she majored in Business Administration. After graduation in 1982 she started her career in the medical field. She worked as a Medical Records Technician, Quality Records Technician and Manager of Quality for several hospitals in the Chicago area. In her new role at Evanston Presbyterian Hospital, Leslie was recently promoted to Quality Manager in charge of medical records. This was her passion for over 39 years, being an advocate for those in need of assistance. Leslie’s life was filled with love and happiness, especially when she found her soulmate, Thomas A. Muldrow. The time they spent together was special. They married on August 14, 2004 and spent the past 19 years together. Leslie is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Thomas and grandmother, Lucille Thomas. She leaves behind to mourn: not only her husband, Thomas A. Muldrow, but also her son, Carrington Thomas (his partner, Anthony Huntoon) who she loved tremendously and would do anything and everything for. Leslie also leaves behind to mourn: a stepdaughter, Dr. Chastity Williams-Lasley; stepson, Thomas A. Means; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sandra Gillespie-Thomas; grandchildren, Jeremiah Williams, De’Anthony Means; niece Veronique Hunter; nephews, Jules and Julian Hampton; aunt, Therese Huff and her lifelong friends, Delores Gray, Renee Jones and Monique Acevedo. A special remembrance for another lifelong friend, Valerie Powe (R.I.P.).
