On the morning of September 14, 2021, Bobby Burkhalter, of Cumming, GA, died at the age of 69. Bobby was born to Grady and Ina Mae Burkhalter. Bobby was known for his kind heart as well as his love of fishing and Elvis. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Grady, and his mother Ina Mae; his sisters, Hazel Payne, Virginia Cain, and Betty Bell; brothers, Larry Burkhalter and Bill Burkhalter. Bobby is survived by Faye Burkhalter of Danielsville, GA; daughter, Candace Harrison (David) of Bethlehem, GA; sons, Shane Burkhalter and Chad Burkhalter, both of Danielsville, GA; granddaughters, Courtney Wilkins (Brian) of Commerce, GA, and Caylee Smith of Bethlehem, GA; grandsons, Scott Smith of Dawsonville, GA, and Jace Farr of Cumming, GA; great grandsons, Brantley Wilkins and Bryson Wilkins of Commerce, GA; brother, Harry Burkhalter of Cumming, GA; sisters, Joyce Blackburn of Washington, GA and Dorris Dunson of Dahlonega, GA; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
