Darryl Glen Brewer, age 58, passed away Sunday September 12, 2021, at his residence in Berea, KY. He was born December 24, 1962, in Berea, KY to the late Jerry and Hazel Helton Brewer. Darryl was an avid outdoorsman, fishing, hunting, and camping were his favorites. There were many things he loved, spending time with his nephews, traveling, especially cruises, cooking, his dogs Tinker & Head, Bluegrass music, his horses, and the Kentucky Wildcats. Darryl was a loving brother, uncle, very much a people person, and always willing to help others. Darryl was of the Holiness faith. Darryl is survived by one daughter, Misty L. Brewer of Chicago, IL, two brothers, Mike Brewer of Bloomington, IN, Randy Brewer of Bloomington, IN, three sisters, Janet Brewer Gilbert of Berea, KY, Angela Brewer Leonard of Fayetteville, NC, Cindy Brewer of Bloomington, IN, two nephews, Alec Leonard of Fayetteville, NC, Austin Leonard of Fort Polk, LA, and several uncles and one aunt. Visitation will be 5:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with funeral services at 11:00AM Friday. Bro. Joe VanWinkle will be officiating.
