Mr. Kenneth Vernon “Ken” Seigler, Sr., 68, of Aiken, SC, beloved husband of forty-eight years to Katie Kathleen Huff Seigler, entered into rest suddenly on Monday, September 13, 2021. Born in Fulton County, GA and an area resident most of his life, he was a son of Purmelia Long Cook and the late Benjamin Seigler. Ken was in the radio industry and was employed by Beasley Broadcasting for many years. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Ken had an excellent sense of humor and enjoyed cards and board games. More than anything however, he enjoyed being with his grandchildren, Erik Rodgers, Samantha Seigler, Kenneth Seigler, III, Amber Seigler, Brandon Seigler, Matthew Seigler and Adam Seigler. In addition to his wife, parents and grandchildren, family members include sons and their spouses, Kenny and April Seigler, New Ellenton, SC, Kris Seigler, Aiken, SC, Shawn and Tabatha Seigler, Aiken, SC and Korey Seigler, Aiken, SC and siblings, Phyllis Derrick, Leesville, SC, Linda Mims, Columbia, SC and Tommy Seigler, Columbia, SC. The family will greet friends on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 11 until 12:30 at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway Graniteville, SC. A graveside service will follow at 1 o’ clock in the Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pastor Dexter Lambert will officiate. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
