Susan Lynn Nelson (59), wife of Mark Nelson, left this world to be with the Lord on August 19.

Susan, daughter of Robert (Coach) and Eileen Pracek, was born in Orlando, Florida and came to Titusville in 1967. She graduated from Astronaut High School, where she met and married the love her life Mark Nelson, her husband of 42 years. They had three children.

Susan spent 20 years working with USA and Jacobs at the Kennedy Space Center. She enjoyed and highly valued her relationships with her coworkers and friends.

Susan was a woman of faith who had a strong relationship with Christ. She was a caring, giving, humble child of God with an endearing personality and a smile that would light up any room. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandbabies. She loved to cook, fish, dance, garden, and pray, but most of all she found joy in making memories with her husband that will now live on through their family.

Susan is survived by her mother Eileen; children, Christ (Courtney) Nelson, Alicia (Nick) Gaines, Jonathan (Claire) Nelson; grandbabies Alexander, Jacob, Connor, Carlee, and baby-to-be Skylen; brother Robert (Karen) Pracek; nephews Jose (Alex) Pracek, and Tony.

The family appreciates all of the prayer, love, support, and donations that have helped them through this tragic time. Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances, the family will be having a private ceremony on September 18th, 2021 at Crosswalk Community Church. A link to view the celebration of life online in real time will be provided at a later date.

Please view Mark's tribute page here: https://www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com/tributes/Mark-Nelson
