Minister Delbert Raynard Pearsall was born on December 1, 1967, to late Edward Pearsall and the late Octavia Velma Shephard, in Brooklyn, New York. He attended St. Aidan Catholic School and graduated from Snyder High School, both in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 2015, he was called to be a minister of the gospel.  He was an associate minister of Ray of Hope Reconciliation Ministries and was a former member of the Tabernacle of Praise International under the leadership of Pastor Joe Reeves. Minister Pearsall was adamant about sharing the good news of Christ with anyone who would listen. He was a gospel singer and really enjoyed all genres of gospel inspirational music.  He was a member of the Prison Outreach Ministry, Valor Bible School, and food ministries.  Former employment included being a bouncer, a forklift driver and a mechanic at Britt Automotive. His favorite NFL team was the New York Giants.

Left to cherish loving memories are daughters, Raychel Pearsall of New Jersey and Iyanna Harrison of Spartanburg, SC; son, Roderick Dawkins of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Shirlene (Charles) Peten of Toms River, NJ and Karen (Reginald) Scott of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Benjamin (Nancy) Pearsall of Bear, DE, Douglas (Deborah) Pearsall of Wallace, NC, Lonnie (Blondell) Fitzpatrick of Durham, NC. Leon (Dawn Pearsall of Bronx, NY and Quinton (Toni) Pearsall of Lakewood, NJ; aunts. Martha Rahming of Eufaula, AL and Juanita Johnson of Bethlehem, PA; and a special nephew, KiYon Peten; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Minister Pearsall was predeceased by his mother and father; wife, Shalena Dawkins Pearsall; siblings, Mary Elizabeth McClutchen, Mattie Drake, Lucy Pearsall and James Pearsall.

On September 13, 2021, Minister Delbert Raynard Pearsall was called from ministering in his earthly home to minister in his heavenly home.
