Dave Weyant

David Alan Weyant, known as "Dave" or "Cuckaberry" to his friends, age 67, of Cunningham, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Saint Thomas Hospital West. He was born July 10, 1954, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the son of the late Arthur Glenn Weyant and Mary Jones Weyant. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Susan Steffen. David spent many years in the automotive repair business and the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, his grandchildren, and being outdoors. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Afterward, David will be cremated and his remains placed between his parents, at the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Groves Weyant; three sons, Joe Weyant, Jason Weyant, and Jimmy Weyant (Kayla); a daughter, Lindy Weyant; nine grandchildren, Jackson Weyant, Johnathan Weyant, Jonah Weyant, Gavin Weyant, Gage Weyant, Gracey Weyant, Tegan Harman, Luna Bella Harman, and Taylor Huggins; and one on the way, from Jimmy and Kayla. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
