Deborah Ethel Darland of Durango passed away on September 3, 2021, she was 69. She was born on June 16, 1952 in Cortez, Colorado to Norman Henry and Betty Ruth Darland. She is survived by her children: Bryan (Theresa) Oakes, Angelia (Brad) Cook, and Scott (April) Oakes; grandchildren: Seth, Emma, Austin, Kyle and Arielle; grandpuppies: Zoey and Maggie; siblings: Guyrene Graffis, Rosemary (Keith) Sperry and Pam (Gary) Jordan. She will be remembered for her brilliant sparkling eyes, mischievous and infectious laugh and her amazing faith. She loved God’s beautiful creation in nature and each season. She touched many lives and left quite an impression on those that knew her. Grammy will be missed for her cherished time with her children and grandbabies. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Summit Church of Durango at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021. In lieu of flowers, purchase a meal(s) for another patron(s) in memory of Debbie as she was often known to do. A beautiful soul with a tremendously giving heart. Go Grammy Go!
