<p>Marjorie Ann Abresch</p> <p>Passed away at Luther Manor, Wauwatosa, WI (her home of 8 years) on Sept 10th 2021 at the age of 98. Born to Nickolas and Esther Schmidt on 19 March, 1923, she was a graduate of Clintonville HS, 1940 and Spencerian Business College, Milwaukee, 1941.</p> <p>Marge worked in Milwaukee, Florida and California during the war years after which she returned to Milwaukee where she met Robert Charles Abresch and they were married 30 October, 1948. They lived in Milwaukee, Brookfield and Wauwatosa over their 68 year marriage. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was lively and fun loving and had a gift for making friends. She and Bob maintained many lifelong friendships and played in 2 neighborhood card clubs for over 50 years. They were longtime members of the Latinaires Dance Group and she was a longtime member of her church craft group. An active athlete in HS, she continued to participate in team sports prior to marriage and was an avid Brewers and Packers fan.</p> <p>Marge was a private but devoted Lutheran and taught that devotion to her family. She believed in the importance of education and encouraged her children to continue training beyond HS. She enjoyed traveling, starting with leaving Clintonville on the day of her HS graduation picnic for new horizons in Milwaukee. Her family enjoyed camping in National Parks during trips ranging from NYC to CA. In later years, Marge and Bob vacationed in Hawaii and Europe and also visited family and friends in Florida yearly.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear husband Robert, sisters Virginia Schmidt and Lucille DeCoursin, brothers-in-law Jack DeCoursin and Cal Roloff, son-in-law Joe Davis and grandson Gabriel Leonard.</p> <p>Left to cherish her memory are sister Rosalee Roloff, children Jeff Abresch (Mary), Lynn Davis (Glenn), David Abresch (Chris) and Richard Abresch (Deborah),&nbsp; grand children Daniel Davis, Kelly Davis, Nick Abresch, Jackson Abresch, Luke Leonard (Laura) and Corissa Bussian (Carl) and great grandchildren Gabriel, Bruno, Leif and Noah as well as many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.</p> <p>A memorial will be held at a later date.
