Ronald Lowell “Ron” Kleveland, 70, retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Montesano Health & Rehab Center. Ron was born on January 21, 1951 in Vancouver, WA to Lowell and Louise I. (Grantham) Kleveland. Following graduating from high school, Ron joined the Marine Corps for four years. He then transferred to the US Army and spent the next 22 years serving our nation. Following his retirement, he worked as a truck driver and did odd jobs here and there. He at one time was married to Dayle Robinson, but they later divorced. He enjoyed painting by numbers, playing games on his phone and building trinket boxes and other things. Ron is survived by two sons: Timmy (Sarah) Kleveland of Coos Bay, OR and Ronald (Denise) Kleveland of Williamsburg, VA; a brother, Robert Kleveland of Olympia, WA; two sisters: Shirley Witt of Montana and Tina Anderson-Pine of Vancouver, WA. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, WA.
