Stephanie L. Sczesny

Stephanie Lynn Sczesny, 46, of Green Springs, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation where she resided. She was born September 19, 1974, in Fostoria to John and Gilda “Sue” Sczesny, and they survive her in Fostoria. Also surviving are her sister, Ann Sczesny, of Perrysburg; her brother, John (Dianne) Sczesny, of Grand Rapids, MI.; nieces, Andrea Sczesny, of Los Angeles, CA, Nicole Sczesny ,of Grand Rapids, MI; and nephews, Zach and Max Sczesny, of Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael, and her sister, Karen. Stephanie attended Blanchard Valley Center in Findlay, which she loved, along with the many friends and teachers she became acquainted with while there. Her teachers found her to be an inspiration and will remember her ever present laughter and smile. Stephanie loved music and watching musicals, her favorite being The Sound of Music. She would spend countless hours sitting on the floor with all of her prized possessions surrounding her, listening to music and serenely rocking with it. Above all Stephanie loved her family. She was a precious sweetheart. Despite the many challenges that she faced throughout her lifetime she never complained. Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, has been entrusted with arrangements. Because of the continuing rise in Covid all services will be held privately. Stephanie will be laid to rest in St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery, in Fostoria. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery for perpetual care, Shriners Children’s Hospital, or National Organization for Rare Disorders.
