EDDIE DARRELL POWELL

<p>Eddie Darrell Powell age 75 of Whitwell passed away Monday, September 13, 2021.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward &amp; Tula Mae Powell; brother, Anthony Lavonne Powell; sister, Marilyn Faye Kilgore; granddaughter, Nicole Powell. Mr. Powell was a member of the NRA and as a friend of law enforcement served as a Marion County Constable for several years.</p> <p>Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 14 years, Peggy Griffiis&nbsp;Powell; children, Jerone Powell, Norman Powell, Rebekah Jones, Christina Rankin, Crystal Helt; brother, Ken Tuders; adopted children, Billie Jo Moneyy, Kenny Powell; eighteen grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.</p> <p>Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021.</p> <p>Funeral services will be at 12noon, Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Berry and Rev. Lavonne Powell officiating.&nbsp; Interment at Condra Cemetery.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers please send donations to funeral home to help with expenses.</p>

My dear friend, when you married my best friend I was watching you like a hawk. You loved her like I do. You were a great couple. You will be missed but always loved. When I get well I will help take care of Peggy the best I can. That is a promise.
