EDDIE DARRELL POWELL

Eddie Darrell Powell age 75 of Whitwell passed away Monday, September 13, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward & Tula Mae Powell; brother, Anthony Lavonne Powell; sister, Marilyn Faye Kilgore; granddaughter, Nicole Powell. Mr. Powell was a member of the NRA and as a friend of law enforcement served as a Marion County Constable for several years.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 14 years, Peggy Griffiis Powell; children, Jerone Powell, Norman Powell, Rebekah Jones, Christina Rankin, Crystal Helt; brother, Ken Tuders; adopted children, Billie Jo Moneyy, Kenny Powell; eighteen grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be at 12noon, Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Berry and Rev. Lavonne Powell officiating.  Interment at Condra Cemetery.
