Ruth S. DeSantis

Ruth S. DeSantis (nee Litchie), age 90, died on September 13, 2021 at her home in Woodbury.  Born and raised in West Deptford, Ruth graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1948.  She lived in Woodbury most of her life.   Ruth was predeceased by her husband James Anthony DeSantis, Sr. and her sister Peggy Lorraine Diehl.  Survived by her children Linda D. (Stewart) Spies, James A. Jr. (Clare), grandchildren Susan (Scott) Roth, Christine (Barrett) Hoffman, Lauren (Josh) Shapiro, James C. (Nicole) DeSantis and five great grandchildren Jolie, Avery, Elijah, Remy and Rosalie.  Recently, Ruth was cared for at her home by her niece, Deborah Diehl Brown.  Graveside service will be 11am on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Hwy, Clarksboro, NJ.  Those desiring may make a contribution in Ruth's name to their favorite charity.  Memories may be shared at <a href="http://www.buddfuneralhome.com/">www.buddfuneralhome.com</a>.

Linda, Jim and families we were so sorry to hear of Aunt Ruth’s passing. She will be missed at family gatherings. She truly lived a long fulfilled life.
