 Daytha Maxine Daniels, 93, of Redkey, IN, passed away Monday, September 13th, 2021 peacefully at Miller's Merry Manor, in Dunkirk, IN. Daytha was born in Redkey, IN, on April 13, 1928 a daughter of the late Kenneth Corneilius and Glenna  (MkcCarty) Hudson. She was a 1946 graduate of Redkey High School and the widow of Gail Hiatt Daniels who she happily married on February 14, 1947. Daytha was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland, IN, Eastern Star Chapter #230, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Chapter #0159 in Hartford City, IN, and former member of Redkey Faith Ladies. She loved baking and spending time with her family and grandchildren, but above all things wanted to be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.  Daytha is survived by 2 sons; Robert Gail Daniels, Danny Daniels (Judy), 2 daughters; Kristy Helm, Shari Anderson (Mike), 1 brother; Bill Oblinger, 12 grandchildren, 3 step grandsons, several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gail, 1 daughter; Darla Lou Hall, 2 brothers; Harold Hudson, Gene Hudson, 4 sisters; Anna Lee Lowry, Marjorie Hudson, Phoebe Tatman, Joy Stanley and 1 granddaughter;  Wendy Beck. Friends are invited to call Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11-2 at MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Dear Friend Gene Stigleman  officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey, IN. At the family's request masks will be required of all visitors regardless of vaccination status. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel.
