<p><strong>John &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; Voytershark passed away Monday September 13, 2021 at the age of 98. Bud was the last of his family having been predeceased by his brother Frank &ldquo;Timer&rdquo;, sister Esther and his niece Mary Elizabeth Peck. Bud never married.</strong></p> <p><strong>Bud farmed all his life in and around Roxbury. He and his brother first rented and later owned their own farm on Painter Ridge Rd. They never had full time help on the farm but by offering free beer they had plenty of hay help! &nbsp;Bud loved baseball and was avid Yankees fan.</strong></p> <p><strong>Bud loved being a farmer, he loved his cows and working outside. If Bud wasn&rsquo;t milking or tending to the cows, you could find him out mowing hay or cutting wood for the winter. He always had a can of Copenhagen in his pocket and he and his brother Timer, enjoyed a good beer. Bud was the best friend and neighbor to all that knew him.</strong></p> <p><strong>Bud will be buried with his parents at St. Mary&rsquo;s Cemetery in Milford, CT privately in the company of his friends. John “Bud” Voytershark passed away Monday September 13, 2021 at the age of 98. Bud was the last of his family having been predeceased by his brother Frank “Timer”, sister Esther and his niece Mary Elizabeth Peck. Bud never married.

Bud farmed all his life in and around Roxbury. He and his brother first rented and later owned their own farm on Painter Ridge Rd. They never had full time help on the farm but by offering free beer they had plenty of hay help!  Bud loved baseball and was avid Yankees fan.
