<p>Lincoln Danielson of Seekonk, MA passed away early Thursday morning February 9th, 2017. He was a devoted husband of 62 years to his beloved wife Patricia (Boyle) Danielson and a proud father of six children and an even prouder grandfather to seven grandchildren.</p><p>Lincoln was a successful Mechanical Engineer for over 45 years. He obtained several patents, for various electronic devices and business machines, while working for companies including Sweda Cash Register, Computer Devices, Astromed, G-Tech and Joseph Pollack. He finished his final working years designing toys at Hasbro, where he would often bring home samples of what he was working on for his grandchildren.</p><p>He was born in New Britain, Connecticut to the late Lincoln Danielson and Frieda (Glaeser) Danielson. He inherited a love of photography from his father. He was an excellent photographer and documented much of the family's life in these pictures. He was also a very talented artist who was able to recreate life-like imagery with a pencil and paper. In addition to photography, Lincoln collected cameras and stamps.</p><p>He was Korean War veteran and a 32nd degree Mason in Unity Lodge No. 148, in New Britain, for over 50 years. His love of engineering and design fostered a great interest in steam engines, both industrial and for the railroad. He never missed a visit to the "Steam Up" at the New England Wireless and Steam Museum. </p><p>He is survived by four children and their spouses including his daughter Ellen Hacunda and son in-law John Hacunda of Charlestown, RI, his son Hugh Danielson of Cincinnati, OH, his daughter Grace Bolduc and son-in-law Paul Bolduc of Bristol, RI and his son James Danielson and daughter-in-law Kelly Danielson of Providence, RI. He also leaves his grandchildren Joseph Bolduc, Erika Bolduc, Christopher Hacunda, Caroline Hacunda, Ben Danielson, Miguel Danielson and Ellen Yeardly. He is predeceased by two sons Paul Danielson and Eric Danielson.</p><p>His funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-6.
