John S. Cunha, 93, of Irving Avenue passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of the late Mary (Faria) Cunha. Born in Seekonk, he was a son of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Vincent) Cunha. Mr. Cunha was a truck driver for the Joseph Leonardo Sand & Gravel Company before he retired. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He leaves one sister in law, Dorothy V. Cusack and her husband Robert, his companion, Claire Hedgepeth and her family and several nieces and nephews. His funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME.
