Lucinda C. Mendonca, 93, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Orchard View Manor. She was the wife of the late Manuel Mendonca. Born in Graciosa, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Bettencourt. Mrs. Mendonca a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. She leaves one sister, Maria C. Bettencourt, her caregiver and also her niece, Connie Costa, her daughter in law, Maria Mendonca and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Fernando Mendonca and sister of the late Maria L. Bettencourt, Manuel C. Ortins, Jose N. Cunha and Delminda Bettencourt. Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street.
