<p>Robert A. Carney, 95, of Seekonk passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at St. Anne's Hospital.</p><p>Born in Marlborough, MA, he was a son of the late William and Alice (McCormick) Carney.</p><p>Robert was an Army veteran of WWII. He liked spending time outdoors and never left his house without his sombrero. He enjoyed a shot of Silver Patrone Tequila in his morning coffee, fresh popped popcorn, and traveling the town of Seekonk in his wheelchair. Bob was very proud of his accomplishment in 1991 when he was honored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for his tour across America on his bike.</p><p>He leaves several nieces and nephews, Susan Barreira and her husband Angelo Castro of Rehoboth, John Carney and his wife Linda of Foster, Raymond Carney of Riverside, Thomas Carney, Jr and his wife Mary of East Providence, Patrick Carney of Seekonk, Charles Carney of Seekonk, Christine Benevides and her husband David of Bristol, Steve Gomez and his wife Teresa of Indiana, Cathy Blawn and her husband Allen of Florida.</p><p>His funeral services will be private.</p>

Robert A. Carney, 95, of Seekonk passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at St. Anne's Hospital.

Robert was an Army veteran of WWII. He liked spending time outdoors and never left his house without his sombrero.
