Earl T. Baker
<p>Earl Baker, 75, of East Providence passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Hope Hospice. Born in Norfolk, Virginia he was the son of the late William and Christine Brown-Hardy. Mr. Baker was the Head of Human Resources at the University of Massachusetts before he retired. He also served in the Air Force. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He is survived by two daughters, Trina (Baker) Machado and Tracy Baker both of East Providence, three sons, Christopher McClease, of Freeport, NY, Eric Baker of Atlanta, GA and Errol Baker of Fall River, MA, seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one sister Bernice Algood of Norfolk, VA. He was the brother of the late Martha Hinton, Mabel Brown, Joseph Baker and Edna Heard. His funeral will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 8:00 AM from the Perry- McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8PM.</p><p> </p>December 26, 201712/26/2017
