<p>May 2, 2013</p><p>Jose F. Gaspar, 84 of Willett Avenue, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Evarista (Mello) Gaspar. He was born in Pedro Miguel, Horta, Azores a son of the late Jose F. and Mariana J. (deJesus) Gaspar. Mr. Gaspar worked for Sowams Nursery in Barrington before retiring. Previously he worked in the Textile Industry for many years. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Marie T. Tetreault of East Greenwich, one son, Manuel E. Gaspar of Riverside, six grandchildren and one sister. He was pre-deceased by one brother and one sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Brendan's Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Please omit flowers, contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
