<p>Barbara Simpson (Healy) Crockett passed away peacefully in her home with her beloved husband of 43 years, Wiley, by her side, after a short battle with a particularly treacherous form of lung cancer. Barbara most recently lived in the Fall River area, but previously lived in Douglaston, NY. She was born August 27, 1949 in Pawtucket, RI to Mark and Barbara (Simpson) Healy who are both deceased. She is cherished by her sisters Colleen Nilsson, Marcia Mello and Erin Healy and many nieces and nephews who miss her terribly. She traveled the world, was a successful competitive sailor, expert Boggle player and ballroom dancer. She was an editor for many years at Yachting Magazine and continued in the publishing industry for the past 20 years at Standard Publishing in Boston. In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations to the Andrew Cloutier Foundation, which supports cancer patients, on the website at www.andrewcloutierfoundation.org or via check payable to “The Andrew Cloutier Memorial Fund”, TD Bank, 127 South St. Wrentham,Ma 02093.</p>
