Norman A. Desautel, 73, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the husband of Beatrice May (Wisher) Desautel.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Norman J. and Doris D. (Frechette) Desautel.

Mr. Desautel worked in the metal industry as a truck driver for many years before retiring. He liked fishing and boating and also enjoyed playing lottery scratch tickets.

Besides his wife he leaves nine children, Norman A. Desautel, Jr. of Pawtucket, Tracey Desautel of Pawtucket, Cindy Desautel of Lincoln, John Poette, Ronnie Poette and his wife Dina, David Poette and Barbara Poette all of Riverside, Linda Mendoza of New York and Shelly Hess, one brother, Robert Desautel, one sister, Diane Desautel, forty one grandchildren and sixty two great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Paul Desautel and brother of the late Charlie, Richard, Danny, Freddy and Raymond Desautel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Saint Brendan's Church, 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial will be private.
