Michelle “Micki” Anne Freeze-Yoder passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021. She was lovingly surrounded by her family. Michelle was born in Massillon, Ohio June 2, 1959, to Barbara J. (Lindsay) Harrold and Edgar “Skip” James Freeze. Micki was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her entire life to helping others~Always putting others needs before her own. She enjoyed simple pleasures like shopping trips with the love of her life (Shawn Yoder), decorating, and spending time with family~ most of all Micki loved her grandchildren more than life itself. She loved being a “Gaga” and the smile said it all when she heard her name called. Her house was nothing less than a cut-out from a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. She loved her HGTV, crafts, and Hallmark movies. She was the epitome of family and values~and for that her legacy will continue in her honor for eternity. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Barbara, and Brian Harrold, Sr. , and step-brother, Brian Harrold, Jr. Micki will be fiercely missed by her adoring husband, Shawn Yoder of 22 years of marriage; children, Zack (Keeley) Smith, Chelsea Smith, Tanner (Hana) Yoder, Lindsay (Doug) Peters, and Lindsay (Jason) Dillon; father, Edgar “Skip” James Freeze; grandchildren, Gaige, Kennedy, Adyson, Everly, Romey, Aurora, Ronnie, Liam, Luca, Matthew, & Brooke; brothers, Michael (Suzanne) Freeze and James Freeze; sister, Jill (Robert) Hart; Step-sisters, Shawn Karasarides, and DeeDee Hassan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A Celebration of Micki’s life will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
