<div><strong>Jeanette L. Yewdall, 72, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021.</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Born March 11, 1949 in Hershey, she was a daughter of Phoebe (Lex) Lutz and the late Lawrence &ldquo;Ben&rdquo; Lutz of Palmyra. She was a 1967 graduate of Palmyra High School and a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg College, Allentown with a BS in Chemistry.</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Jeanette was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother; she was also passionate about caring for and shaping the lives of children beyond her family. For the past 30 years she was a child care provider at Special Friends Child Care in Campbelltown and was an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. A member of Palm Lutheran Church, Jeanette contributed to the life of the church by serving as the coordinator of the Religious Education Programs, the representative to &ldquo;Palmyra A Caring Community&rdquo;, and being a life-long member of the choir. She continued to show her dedication to children by being active in the Lutheran Camping Corporation.</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Edward C. Yewdall; daughters Catherine, wife of Peter Dayton of St. Michael, Minnesota and Cynthia, wife of Vlad Grigorescu of Champaign, Illinois; grandchildren Amelia Dayton, Benjamin Dayton, Maddie Thackeray, Alex Thackeray, Silvia Grigorescu, and Veronica Grigorescu; sister Laraine Hinton of Lancaster; and cousins Brenda Lutz and Barbara Lutz, both of Lebanon.</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her church, 11 West Cherry Street, Palmyra with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.&nbsp; Visitations 6:00 &ndash; 8:00 PM Monday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra and 9:30 &ndash; 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church.</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Memorial contributions may be made to Palm Lutheran Church, 11 West Cherry Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 or Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children (PennAEYC), 415 Market Street, Suite 208, Harrisburg, PA 17101, adding &ldquo;In loving memory: Jeanette Yewdall&rdquo; (in the memo).</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>
