Alex Isaiah Smith, 25, of Lincoln Street, Concord, NC passed away Wednesday, September 8, in Mecklenburg County.

He was born August 10, 1996 in Cabarrus County to Ronald Lee Smith, Jr. and Nashika Griffin.

Alex was educated in the Cabarrus County School and was employed in Construction.

Services will be held on Friday, September 17, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00.  Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Aleah Smith; paternal grandmother, Mildred Smith; maternal grandmother, Nadine Phillips.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his father, Ronald Lee Smith, Jr. of Kannapolis; mother, Nashika Griffin of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Elijah Crisco of Kannapolis, NC, Chance Griffin of Greensboro, NC; paternal Grandfather, Ronald Smith, Sr. (Durethia) of Concord, NC; maternal grandfather, Billy Phillips of Harrisburg, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Annie Mae Roseman of Concord, NC; special friend, Hope Price of Charlotte; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Due to Covid-19 Mask must be worn to all services.
