Geraldine Grace Samson

The family of Geraldine Grace Samson, age 72, announces that she passed away peacefully, September 12, 2021, in Saint Albans. She was born in St. Albans, April 15, 1949 to Anthony and Helen (Hemingway) Cusson. Geraldine married Paul Samson, August 08, 1969. Geraldine worked for many years as a bookkeeper for City Feed and Hoods Creamery. She was also a bus driver for St. Albans City School for many years. She cared for several high need foster kids in her most recent years. Geraldine loved to play Bingo, and visit the Casino. She liked to go camping and attending family events. Geraldine will be remembered for her love of spending time with her family, providing them with love and care. She was well known for spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and bragging about them to many. She welcomed an open door for anyone in need. She is survived by her husband Paul, three sons, Tim Samson (Lauri) of Saint Albans, VT, Dominic Samson (Sara Rutanhira) of Saint Albans, VT, and Daniel Samson (Brandi) of Fairfax, VT; nine grandchildren, TJ Samson, Jake Samson, Katiann Samson, Eva Samson, Shadow Maines, Storm Samson, Echo Samson, Laurel Samson, and Ty Samson; and two sisters, Jean Young of Westfield, MA and Hilda Cusson of Fairfield, VT. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Anthony Cusson Jr. and Dominic Cusson. A Remembrance Gathering and Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM, in Holy Angels Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in her name to American Heart Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, where online condolences and memories of Geraldine may be shared with her family and friends at www.bradyandlevesque.com.
