Christine Lynn Hurt, age 49, of Three Rivers, MI passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 in Three Rivers, MI. She was born Oct. 18, 1971 in Illesheim, Germany a daughter to Dave & Peggy (Bresseman) St. John. Christine grew up in Lake Villa, Illinois and has resided in the Sturgis, MI area for over 25 years. In 2004 she married Douglas Hurt and this marriage ended in divorce in 2008. She had been employed by various organizations in the health care industry and she loved her children and grandchildren. Surviving are 1 son: Andrew Hurt of Sturgis, MI; 2 daughters: Isabelle Hurt and Ashley Zierle both of Sturgis, MI; 3 grandchildren: Logan, Isaac, and Nora; her father: Dave (Cathy) St. John of Pickerel, WI; 1 brother: Josh (Mary) St. John of Paris, WI; 2 step-brothers: Thomas Combs of Round Lake, IL and Ricky Combs of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her mother. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
